Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PuppetMe AI (“PuppetMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, tools for generating AI character portraits from photos, group scene creation, account features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

PuppetMe lets you upload photos to generate stylised character portraits (“puppets”), preview results, unlock full-resolution downloads, save characters to your account, and combine multiple characters into group images. Outputs are created using automated AI systems and may vary in quality or resemblance.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Features, pricing, and credit packages may be updated without prior notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that all information you provide is accurate.

You may browse and generate previews without creating a full account. Certain features — such as saving characters, purchasing credits, or unlocking downloads — require an account with a valid email address and password.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@puppetme.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.

Paid features are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you authorise us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the displayed price. Prices are shown in British pounds (GBP) unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes where required.

Current paid offerings include individual character unlocks, group image generation, and credit packs (such as the Squad Pack). The specific price and what is included are shown at checkout before you pay.

Credits, once added to your account, are tied to your account and are not transferable except where required by law.

Because the Service delivers digital goods and AI generation begins promptly after purchase or upload, all sales are generally final once generation or unlock has started.

If you believe a charge was made in error, or if generation failed due to a fault on our side, contact hello@puppetme.co.uk within 14 days of purchase. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable.

You retain ownership of photos you upload. Subject to these Terms, once you unlock a character or complete a paid group image, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to download and use the resulting image for lawful personal and commercial purposes, except as restricted below.

You must only upload photos you have the right to use — including photos of yourself or of others who have given you clear permission. Do not upload images of minors without verifiable parental or guardian consent.

You may not use the Service or its outputs to create misleading deepfakes, impersonate others without consent, harass anyone, generate illegal content, or infringe third-party intellectual property or publicity rights.

Group images may include multiple characters you have created. You are responsible for ensuring everyone depicted has consented to being included.

We may display anonymised or watermarked examples of group scenes on our website, marketing materials, or social channels to illustrate what the Service can do. We will not use your unlocked, paid personal images for marketing without your separate permission. Contact us if you wish to opt out of any optional showcase programmes we may offer.

Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that a result will resemble any particular person, meet your expectations, or be free from artefacts or errors. You use generated images at your own discretion.

PuppetMe is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any third-party entertainment brand or character franchise. Generated styles are original artistic interpretations.

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, abusive, or sexually explicit content involving minors
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Circumvent watermarks, payment, or access controls
• Use automated tools to create accounts or abuse free tiers
• Resell or sublicense the Service itself (individual output licences are addressed above)

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or refuse service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

The PuppetMe name, logo, website design, software, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding or code except as needed to use the Service normally.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUPPETME AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) £50, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
